This explains what information we collect through the ZaptoPC waitlist, why we collect it and how we intend to use it.
What we collect
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- The type of phone you mainly use.
- Your optional comments about phone-to-PC file-transfer frustrations.
- The date and time you joined the waitlist.
Why we collect it
We use this information to manage the ZaptoPC waitlist, understand which devices and transfer problems matter most to potential users, improve the product before release, and contact interested people about ZaptoPC's launch and occasional related product updates.
Your choice and consent
Joining is voluntary. The form will not submit unless you actively tick the consent box. You may ask us to remove your waitlist information at any time.
How we store it
Waitlist submissions are stored in a private data file on our web-hosting account. The file is kept outside the public website directory and is not intended to be directly accessible from the web.
Sharing
We do not intend to sell your waitlist information. We use it for the ZaptoPC purposes described above, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary for service providers involved in operating the website or sending authorised ZaptoPC communications.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information only for as long as reasonably needed for the ZaptoPC launch, product research and permitted communications, after which it should be deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
